Top 10 ways to make your iPhone battery boostup tips!!!

Thus for all those who are always looking look out for charging points to keep their handsets alive, we have picked up 10 tips that will help your iPhone battery last substantially longer.

Turn on Auto-Brightness

One of the major reasons leading to battery consumption is the increased brightness of the screen as lot of energy is needed to illuminate the display with extra light. Thus by turning on the feature of Auto Brightness you can save a lot of battery as with this feature the display will use less light and thus less power in the dark places and more when it is bright outside.

To adjust brightness levels automatically go to the Settings> Brightness & Wallpaper>Auto Brightness ON (green)

Reduce Screen brightness manually

If you are not comfortable with the feature of Auto-Brightness you can always set the brightness levels manually as well. For this you need to go to the Settings> Brightness & Wallpaper> Reduce the brightness level with slider.

Stop the Motion Effects

Background Motion is one of the most interesting features of iOS 7 and its parallax effect is really cool. The effect makes the icons and the notifications move slightly when your iPhone is moved but for this movement, the graphics abilities eat up lot of battery thereby draining your handset.  In order to disable this effect you need to go to the Settings>General>Accessibility> Reduce Motion> toggle the switch to ON (green)

Turn off your Bluetooth

The present generation iPhone features Bluetooth 4.0 which is also known as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) which takes up less power as compared to the previous versions of the Bluetooth. But still when you do not intent to connect to any device wirelessly, the latest Bluetooth version also takes up power which is not needed.

Thus turning off the Bluetooth when not needed will help you save battery of your handset. For disabling the Bluetooth feature you need to go to the Settings>Bluetooth>Move the slider to the OFF position. You can also quickly turn off the feature by simply swiping up from the bottom of any screen which will bring the Control Center from where you can tap on the key of Bluetooth.

Disable your Dynamic Backgrounds

Dynamic background that offers animated wallpapers moving below the app icons are definitely another cool feature of the latest iOS 7 but as usual it takes up lot of juice from the battery. Thus by using the still image as your wallpaper you can save on your battery and to do this you need to go to the Settings>Wallpapers & Brightness> select a wallpaper from the ‘Stills’ section.

Turn Off your WiFi

WiFi is a high speed network of the handset but we mainly use it in our offices and homes when we do not wish to put extra burden on our data plans. Always enabling the WiFi feature will make your handset constantly search for the WiFi hotspots and networks and this in turn drains lot of battery. Thus when you are not using WiFi, you can turn it off quickly by swiping up from the bottom and tapping on the WiFi button on the Control Menu so that it turns black to disable the feature.

Turn Off 4G

4G is definitely one of the most admired feature of present day mobile networks that offers great internet speed but also takes up lot of juice from your battery. Thus when you are running short of battery disable your 4G network and this you can do by going to the Settings>Cellular>toggle the switch “Enable 4G” to turn it off.

Turn off App Location Services

Location services in your iPhone is undoubtedly a very useful feature that enables the apps to know if your making use of GPS or WiFi triangulation and also assists in functioning of other apps. But like any other service where data needs to be send over a network, it also consumes lot of battery.  If location services are not being used you can disable them and save some power for your handset and for this you need to go to the Settings>Privacy>Location Services>toggle the switch to OFF(white) in order to turn off all the Location Services or you can also toggle the individual apps access to ON and OFF.

Prevent Background App Refresh

Background App Refresh enables the apps to remember the ones which are most frequently used and the time of the day when they are mostly used so that they can be automatically updated when you use the app next time. Though this is a smart and handy feature that predicts your app usage but it drains lot of power as well, as the apps are running in the background. Thus by disabling the Background App Refresh you can save on to battery. Simply go to Settings>General>Background App Refresh> toggle the switch to OFF ( White) or toggle the individual apps for ON or OFF.

Turn Off System Location Services

The latest OS in iPhone makes use of location services for array of functions and among them many are not useful as well and take up lot of battery. Thus by turning these location services off you can get more juice for your battery.

Go to Settings>Privacy>Location Services> Move down till you see the System Services and then toggle the switch to OFF to disable the individual location services.
